Le parcours musical de Yvan Petit débute dès son plus jeune âge. Issu d’une famille musicale, il monte sur scène dès l’âge de quatre ans, déclenchant une passion qui deviendra une carrière à temps plein axée sur la scène, le studio et les tournées internationales.
En 1999, Yvan rencontre Johnny Reid, amorçant une collaboration de 26 ans comme guitariste solo en tournée. Membre de longue date du groupe de Johnny Reid, il s’est produit à travers le Canada, les États-Unis, l’Australie et l’Europe, partageant la scène avec des artistes de renom tels que Brad Paisley, Dwight Yoakam, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride et Ricky Skaggs. En 2006, il atteint un moment clé de sa carrière en se produisant au légendaire Grand Ole Opry.
Depuis 2016, Yvan poursuit sa propre voie artistique. Grâce à une présence constante sur Facebook et YouTube, il a bâti une communauté fidèle, ce qui l’a mené à se produire régulièrement dans les festivals de l’Ontario et du Québec. Alliant les racines du country classique à son style distinctif de chicken-pickin’, Yvan propose des performances authentiques inspirées de Nashville, qui touchent instantanément le public.

Yvan Petit’s musical journey began at a remarkably young age. Raised in a musical family, he stepped onto the stage by the age of four, sparking a lifelong passion that evolved into a full-time career rooted in live performance, studio work, and international touring.
In 1999, Yvan met Johnny Reid, marking the beginning of a 26-year career as a touring lead guitarist. As a longtime member of the Johnny Reid band, he has performed across Canada, the United States, Australia, and Europe, sharing the stage with legendary artists including Brad Paisley, Dwight Yoakam, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, and Ricky Skaggs. In 2006, Yvan reached a major career milestone with a performance at the iconic Grand Ole Opry.
Since 2016, Yvan has focused on his own artistic path. Through consistent content on Facebook and YouTube, he has built a loyal and growing fan base, leading to regular festival appearances throughout Ontario and Quebec. Blending classic country roots with his signature chicken-pickin’ guitar style, Yvan delivers authentic Nashville-inspired performances that resonate instantly with audiences of all ages.
